How to Buy Gift Certificates

You can buy gift certificates using the "Ready to Buy" box above.

1. Specify the recipient's name (optional).
2. Enter the recipient's email address (required). This is the address to which we'll send the gift certificate. It must be a real address or your gift certificate will not reach its destination. We will never sell, rent, or share your recipient's name, e-mail, or address with anyone. For further information, see our Privacy Policy.
3. Click "Add to Cart." You can now continue shopping or go through the normal checkout process.
4. Your gift certificate will be sent to the specified recipient on the next business day after you complete your order. At the same time, a message will be sent to your billing email address notifying you that your gift certificate has been sent.

If you would like to print a copy of the gift certificate, specify yourself as the recipient. You will then be able to print it out and give it to your loved one.

Be careful! Gift certificates are just like cash and should be treated as such.

How to Use the Gift Certificates

1. Add the appropriate products to your cart and checkout normally.Checkout normally.
2. When you arrive at the Shipping/Payment screen, enter your Gift Certificate code into the box labeled "Gift Certificate". Please note: the Gift Certificate code is cAsE sEnSiTiVe. The code must be entered exactly as printed on your certificate, with lower and upper case letters preserved.
3. Press "Redeem". The discount should now be reflected in your basket.
4. To apply additional Gift Certificates, repeat steps 3 and 4.
5. Select your Shipping Method and Payment Method and press Continue.
6. If the Gift Certificate is sufficient to cover the entire order including shipping, you will not need to enter any further payment information. Simply press Continue to complete your order. Otherwise, you will be asked to enter your credit card number and expiration date.

If a problem arises and your Gift Certificate code doesn't work, continue with the checkout as normal. On the next screen, enter the Gift Certificate code into the "Special Instructions" field. Your Gift Certificate will be applied when we process your order.

• You will not be charged for your order if the Gift Certificate is sufficient to cover your entire order including shipping.
• If your order exceeds the value of the Gift Certificate, you will not be charged for your order until after the Gift Certificate has been applied.

Terms and Conditions

1. Gift certificates and unused portions of gift certificates should be spent within 18 months from the date of issuance, which is the "spend by" date included on the gift certificate. Gift certificate holders will be given an additional 6-month grace period to spend their gift certificates, and gift certificates and unused portions of gift certificates will expire two years from the date of issuance, which is the "expires" date included on the gift certificate.*
2. Gift certificates must be redeemed through the AlerG.com Web site, http://www.AlerG.com, toward the purchase of products listed in AlerG.com's online catalog. Gift certificates may not be redeemed for the purchase of products through any other person or entity.
   
3. Gift certificates cannot be used to purchase gift certificates or gift cards, such as AlerG.com Gift Certificates.
   
4. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund.
   
5. Any unused balance will be placed in the recipient's gift certificate account and is not transferable. The original expiration date will apply to any unused balance.
   
6. If your order exceeds the amount of your gift certificate, you must pay for the balance with a credit card.
   
7. Gift certificate cash value is 1/10 of one cent.
   
8. Gift certificates and their use on the AlerG.com Web site are subject to AlerG.com's general Conditions of Use and Privacy Notice.
   
9. We are not responsible for lost or stolen gift certificates. If you have any questions, please contact customer service at 888-760-1900.
   
10. AlerG.com will have the right to close customer accounts and request alternative forms of payment if a fraudulently obtained gift certificate is either redeemed through the AlerG.com Web site or is redeemed and used to make purchases on the AlerG.com Web site.
    
11. AlerG.com may provide gift certificate purchasers with information about the redemption status of gift certificates.

AND ITS AFFILIATES MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO GIFT CERTIFICATES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN THE EVENT A GIFT CERTIFICATE CODE IS NON-FUNCTIONAL, YOUR SOLE REMEDY, AND OUR SOLE LIABILITY, SHALL BE THE REPLACEMENT OF SUCH GIFT CERTIFICATE. CERTAIN STATE LAWS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES. IF THESE LAWS APPLY TO YOU, SOME OR ALL OF THE ABOVE DISCLAIMERS, EXCLUSIONS, OR LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU, AND YOU MIGHT HAVE ADDITIONAL RIGHTS.

AlerG.com gift certificates are issued and sold by AlerG, Inc. The risk of loss and title for gift certificates pass to the purchaser upon our electronic transmission to the recipient or delivery to the carrier, whichever is applicable.
