Best for the highly allergic.
This fabric is best for those who are highly allergic to dust mites. It is
100% pure cotton laminated to a specially developed urethane membrane. The membrane
is virtually airtight, so not even the smallest allergen particles can pass
through. This membrane is different than others you may be used to: it makes
no noise, is moisture vapor permeable and soft and comfortable to sleep on.
Due to the fact that this material is essentially airtight, it also helps form
an effective barrier against chemical/perfume smells in mattresses and bedding.
Chemically sensitive people who have to travel and sleep in strange hotel beds
may wish to bring a set of encasings along with them.
Care instructions: Wash before using. Do not use bleach or harsh detergents.
Machine washable at warm temperatures up to 140 degrees F. Tumble dry medium.
If left in the dryer too long, the urethane membrane may be damaged. Can also
be hand washed and hung to dry. For best results, use under your regular bedding.
Wash regular bedding at least every 1 to 2 weeks and allergy bedding every 2
weeks to 4 months depending on your sensitivity.
