Use Conditioner for Best Results

02/24/2008 - by Denise from MN

I LOVE this shampoo. It is OIL FREE. I have fairly oily skin it doesn't bother me, in fact it feels good and I can't smell a thing. I do notice that when I use the Magick conditioner my hair feels even better. I don't have any problem with lather, maybe my water is soft. I dunno if my home has a water softener or not.

A friend of mine that also uses it and has dry skin found that using the Aquasana shower filter, Magick conditioner does the trick. I think the chlorine in the water aggravated her dryness.

Yes its fragrance free but drying to hair. Must use a lot of product to get nice lather.

Magick Botaanicals

I have bought so many different fragrance free shampoos and this one truly works the best. I also found kiss my face olive oil soap too. It is also a great product for those that are sensitive. Every smell bothered me. From perfume, to candles, gasoline and fragrance from the flowers. When I went to the Doctor's, I had all the test done. He explained new enviroment comes with new problems. After figuring the cause of the problem. When I moved from NY to Florida I noticed little bumps all over my face and body. I itched like crazy. No more chemicals on my body. You may rethink and look what's in our food at well. I am also allergic to yogurt. The bacteria in it caused my throat to be all red and hard to swallow. It's the bacteria that made me sick. One word of advice watch everything that you eat or apply on the body. I have totally changed my way of living. Thank God for better products. Go on the computer to see that there are many of us with this problem. There are cures, but only in europe. The USA wants to keep us sick so we can go to the Doctor's and easte are money.

Tips + This is the one I use

I have tried many different shampoos. Irrespective of what is in it, this is the shampoo that I personally tolerate best. Of all the shampoos we have I cannot smell anything on this one. However, there are many other customers who prefer the others. My advice for very sensitive people is to try different ones.

The disadvantage for those who have very dry hair or scalps is that it is oil free therefore tends to dry. It is almost essential to use the conditioner, or another tip is to add some moisturising lotion during the rinse if you have dry hair.

PS- the parabens are the last on the list so the amount is small.

Don't believe the hype!

You won't use this shampoo or any other products with parabens once you google search "parabens" plus "danger." That this is presented as a "healthy" product is BS.

Magick Shampoo

12/20/2005 - by Ellen from TX US

This shampoo really is made for the chemically sensitive. It does have a very slight smell when you are using it only. The only issue that I have with it is that I have to use a palmful to get my longer hair clean. I also use this as body and hand soap as it actually smells less than the baby soap/shampoo that Magick makes. We have tried multiple other "nonscented" or "fragrance free" shampoos and this one is the best out of all of them for the lack of ANY scent.
